The staff gets it when groups roll in with laptops and stacks of papers, and the sports atmosphere keeps everyone locked in on football mode.

Dunwoody Tavern

This local spot has that authentic neighborhood feel that just works for fantasy drafts. It's intimate enough that your trash talk stays within the group, but the sports-focused vibe means everyone's in the right headspace for building championship teams. The space is divided up so that each group can have their own space. Be sure to order the “chips”.

पक्षी

Don't sleep on this place for draft headquarters. Great sports-bar energy with seating that actually works when you need to spread out all your notes and keep your strategy sheets organized without everything falling on the floor. This hidden gem is over in the old Walmart shopping center. Head to the back of the lot, and you cannot miss it.

After I published this blog last year, I can't tell you how many people told me that I failed to include one of the mainstays in Dunwoody. Taco Mac is one of the best places to get every single beer under the sun because they carry every beer under the sun. Enjoy classic food with lots of TVs and classic food that everybody knows about.

Mellow Mushroom

Sometimes the best drafts happen when everyone's actually relaxed (is that possible?). The booths here are spacious enough for those marathon sessions where you're still debating sleeper picks three hours in. The chill atmosphere helps keep things fun when your buddy inevitably drafts your target player one pick before you.

Vintage Pizza

This place just gets groups. Plenty of table space for all your draft essentials—laptops, printed rankings, that notebook where you scribble down your "brilliant" late-round strategies, and obviously enough pizza to keep everyone happy.

Chupito's

If you want to mix things up with some Mexican flavors, this spot brings good energy with a laid-back vibe. The group seating works well, and sometimes a change of scenery can spark those genius draft decisions. Tell Darren we said hello!

Hawkers (at the bar)

For something completely different, the bar area here is perfect for smaller leagues. Asian street food keeps things interesting, and the intimate setting means you can actually hear each other when someone makes a questionable pick. The menu is full of small plates, so you can slowly order and get fun bites while you grab the best players!

Politan Row

Honestly, this might be your best bet if you've got a bigger league with picky eaters. It's a food hall, so everyone can grab exactly what they want while staying together for the draft. Multiple seating areas give you options, and the WiFi actually works. Perfect for when you've got that one person who's gluten-free, someone who only eats vegetables, and the guy who lives on chicken wings. The big boss there is Mike, so let him know we sent ya.

Morty's Meat and Supply

These guys expanded their space since last year, and they have even better areas to spread out. The communal tables are perfect for group drafting, and there's something fitting about picking your fantasy roster in a place that really knows good meat when they see it.

I love the brisket plate and some of their bourbon. But do not lose focus on the players you are drafting. Once your belly is full, you will have the energy to be focused.

The Hampton Social

Ready to class up your draft game? This trendy spot proves you don't have to draft in some dive bar with sticky floors (not that ANY of our spots in Dunwoody have that!). The upscale atmosphere might inspire better draft choices, or at least make you feel better about reaching for your favorite college player in round three. Grab the high boy tables by the bar. Maybe the weather will be nice and they will have the windows open beside you.

Louisiana Bistreaux

Some of my friends, like Matt Weber, say that I talk about LB too much. But I cannot help it. This restaurant has terrific food and even better hurricanes—which means that you are destined to get the best player off the Dolphin’s roster!

Of course, the Saints fans love this spot! Bring some New Orleans flavor to your draft with this upscale Cajun spot. Great atmosphere, solid group seating, and the kind of place where everyone feels like they're part of something special while building their championship roster. Our friend over there is Fred—ask him about the whiskey tastings they host.

Culinary Dropout

This gastropub hits that perfect sweet spot—nice enough to feel special, but still totally appropriate for getting loud when someone makes a terrible pick. Great group tables with plenty of room for all your draft materials. The bar is also deep, great for spreading out your list of targets. I recommend bourbon’s hidden gem, George Dickel 8-Year. They carry it and after you have tried it, you can thank me by getting me a bottle.

Le Meridien Lobby

For the most sophisticated draft experience you'll find in Dunwoody, this elegant lobby setting brings some serious class to your fantasy football. Comfortable seating and rock-solid WiFi in an environment that might just elevate everyone's game. Our big boss, Ray Ezelle, swears by the burger you get at the bar. So, it looks like this plan is coming together!

Bar Peri at AC Hotel

If the weather's nice (and, honestly, even if it’s not), this rooftop bar gives you a unique backdrop for your draft. Hit the hotel’s lobby, grab the elevator to the top of the building. It’s sooo sweet! There's something pretty cool about building your championship lineup while enjoying craft cocktails with a view.
